AIFD Announces 2016 PFDE Results
All of the 114 candidates that were evaluated as part of AIFD’s Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) program were successful in their bid to become a Certified Floral Designer (CFD®) as bestowed by the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD®), it was announced by Anthony Vigliotta AIFD, CFD, president of the Institute.

Anthony J. Vigliotta AIFD, CFD
Named President of AIFD
Anthony J. Vigliotta AIFD, CFD of Anthos Design in Los Angeles, Calif. was installed as President of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD®) during the organization’s 2016 National Symposium held in Orange County, Calif., July 3-7. He succeeds Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD, PFCI, CFD of Designer Destination in Tucson, Ariz. as the volunteer leader of the floral industry’s leading organization in design education.
AIFD announced five 2016 award winners during ceremonies that took place during the organization’s 2016 National Symposium.

Several floral design students made their mark at AIFD’s 2016 Student Floral Design Competition that was held as part of AIFD’s 2016 National Symposium “Inspiration” that was held in Orange County, Calif., July 3 – 7.
