Symposium Attire
You'll be enjoying summer in the city, so comfortable business casual clothing is appropriate for wear throughout AIFD's National Symposium. There are several times, however, when other dress will be more appropriate. These include the Monday, July 5 Awards and Induction Dinner where business dinner attire (suit or coat-and-tie) is more appropriate, and the Wednesday, July 7th Leadership Gala Dinner/Dance where we dress to the nines in black tie and elegant dresses.
July 4th in Boston
A grand July 4th celebration bursts forth with fireworks on the Charles River by the Esplanade in Boston at 9:30 p.m. While many AIFD guests will be able to see them from their room, others may want to go to the event and listen to the Boston Pops accompany the spectacular display.
