The American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) and its members have maintained a strong presence with award-wining exhibits at the Philadelphia Flower Show, the Chelsea Flower Show and the Chicago Flower Show.

Philadelphia Flower Show

The Philadelphia Flower Show has been a Philadelphia tradition since 1829. The Show has evolved from a gathering of professional growers showcasing their prized plants to the largest and oldest indoor flower show in the nation.

The Philadelphia Flower Show blooms every March at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The country's premier landscape designers and florists are featured and turn 10 acres of exhibit space into a floral fantasy world with exotic plants and eclectic designs.

Chelsea Flower Show

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London is the ultimate event in the gardening year. It sets the latest gardening trends, features the newest and most desirable gardening products and creates an explosion of colors and scents.

The Southeastern Flower Show

The Southeastern Horticultural Society, which holds the annual plant extravaganza, announced in April that the 2010 event would be dramatically different.

Significant changes include reducing the 23rd annual show from five days to three and dropping the bookstore and flower shop marketplaces. But the leaner flower show won't be without innovation.

From exotic flowers and plants to more common foliage ... paving stones ... decks ... ponds ... and more, the show is about variety blended with fantasy, yet practicality. Visitors will experience the sleek, lush and creative as well as -- with a little imagination -- the affordable.

The flower show will be held at the Cobb Galleria Centre from February 4-6, 2010.
