AIFD^® is dedicated to establishing, maintaining and recognizing the highest standard of professional floral design and education in floral design. Welcome to the newest benefit that will help you strengthen your professional skills or put you on the path to becoming an accredited member of AIFD^® – AIFD’s online education.

The cost to enroll in each online course is $79 for AIFD^® members and AIFD Friends and $99 for others. AIFD^® Accredited Members only may offer their employees the ability to enroll in AIFD^® online floral design courses at the member rate. To receive the promotional code please contact AIFD^® via e-mail at info@aifd.org. If you are the employee of an AIFD^® member and would like to receive this discount, please have them contact AIFD to obtain the promo code for you.

All online classes are available for two weeks from the start date. All courses are self-paced which allows for flexibility of login and access that is convenient for each user. You may find the schedule of classes and course descriptions on the toolbar on the left.

All online courses have an instructor who is active and involved with students, facilitating the learning process through discussion boards, e-mails and material updates.

What to expect as course requirements:
1.    Review all course material (page visits tracked by computer system – use the provided course checklist to make sure all material is reviewed).
2.    Completion of the exit exam with an 80% or better score.
3.    Participation in the online discussion board by responding to instructor posts as well as student posts.
4.    Other course specific requirements.

Workshops

These workshops, offered by select AIFD^® Education Partners, will assist anyone in the preparation process of taking the Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) or for general design skill improvement. However, AIFD^® recommends that participants take the online portion of these classes (Arrangements: Everyday & Sympathy and Personal Flowers: To Wear or Carry) prior to the actual workshops. Course fees very per school but typically includes all flowers and materials, and participants typically must bring their own tools.
