Course 1 – Introduction to Floral Design
Course 2 – Elements and Principals of Design
Course 3 – Design Techniques and Applications
Course 4 – Arrangements: Every Day and Sympathy
Course 5 – Personal Flowers: to Wear and Carry

These 5 online courses are self-paced. You will have 14 days from the start date (noted below) to complete each course, and you are welcome to take more than one at a time*.
Courses are offered in alternating months, with courses 1, 2 and 3 being offered one month, and courses 4 and 5 offered the next month.

Registration for these courses will close the Friday before the start date shown.

For any of these 5 courses, you will want to purchase (in advance) the required textbook, The AIFD Guide to Floral Design : Terms, Techniques, and Traditions (3^rd Edition).

Online Course Cost

These workshops can assist anyone in the preparation process of taking the Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) or for general design skill improvement. However, AIFD® recommends that participants take the online portion of these classes in addition to actual hands-on floral workshops. One great source for hands-on workshops are AIFD’s Education Partners. The cost to enroll in each online course is $79 for AIFD® members and AIFD® Friends and $99 for others.
