2024 Symposium “Emerge”

July 2-6, 2024 | Orlando, Florida

Floral designers and enthusiasts from around the world emerged in Orlando during the 57th annual AIFD® Symposium. Over 700 attendees joined together from July 2 to July 6 at the Signia Hilton, Bonnet Creek Hotel and Resort to see creative designs and participate in immersive events and inspirational sessions.

Emerge was an action-packed educational extravaganza with high-level stage presentations from renowned floral design artists from the US, Belgium, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, and Mexico. The AIFD® Symposium also included hands-on workshops, informative business sessions, a welcome reception, two celebratory dinners, a student competition, and specialized FFA and SAIFD educational sessions. In addition, the annual Awards Ceremony took place on July 3, which included the induction of the newest members of the Institute.

First-time attendee and Symposium Ambassador Jennifer Anderson from Farm Girl Florals & Events in Mobile, Alabama, said this about her Emerge Symposium experience.

“Stepping into the unknown (to me) world of AIFD was extremely intimidating, and I felt inferior and WAY out of my league.” She continues, “BUT, every single professional and peer I have met has provided words of encouragement, shared a wealth of knowledge and expertise, embraced this newbie, and provided yet another key building block as an emerging professional and the journey to becoming CFD and AIFD.”
