AIFD Announces 2022 PFDE Results
Of the 103 professionals that were evaluated as part of AIFD’s Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) program, 34 designers earned their CFD credentials in Vegas and 34 designers maintained their CFD credentials. Thirty-two professionals created artistic designs that were so excellent in presentation that they have been invited to become a member of AIFD and they will be inducted during ceremonies at the 2023 AIFD® National Symposium “GROW” taking place in Chicago, IL, July 1 – 6.

Todd Sweeden AIFD, CFD Named President of AIFD
Todd Sweeden AIFD, CFD of Sweeden Florist in Russellville, AR was installed as President of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD®) during the organization’s 2022 National Symposium held in Las Vegas, NV, July 6 – 11. He succeeds Janet Black AIFD, CFD of Designs by Janet Black AIFD in Bethel, ME as the volunteer leader of the floral industry’s leading organization in design education.

Twelve recipients were recognized on July 7 during the Institute’s Awards & Induction Ceremony held in conjunction with the National Symposium “ROOTS” in Las Vegas, NV. Recipients were from 2020, 2021 and 2022.
