2025 PFDE Session

Registration for the 2025 PFDE session happening in Palm Springs CA is NOW OPEN!

Taking part in the PFDE process is a major step in one’s professional career. Below you will find helpful information for securing your place in the 2025 PFDE session.

For current CFD Members:
(If you have attained your CFD® through an AIFD® Education Partner or have participated in a previous PFDE session earning your CFD® membership.)

If you are a current CFD® member you need only click on the link below to register through the official Symposium registration site. There is nothing further you need to do.

Non-Members:
(if you have never participated in a previous PFDE session OR participated, but did not achieve a score high enough to attain the CFD® designation)

For those who are not current CFD® members, to reserve your seat for the Palm Springs PFDE session you will need to register through the official Symposium registration site. Once your registration is complete you will receive further instructions for completing the on-line portion of the examination process.

Once you have completed your registration you will be sent an email confirmation which will be sent through the official Symposium registration site and may appear as E-show in the “sender” line of the communication. If you do not receive the confirmation within 24 hours, please first check all your junk or spam folders before reaching out to headquarters for more information.

Please keep your email confirmation as it contains your password to your registration profile that will come in handy should you need to update your information or registration. It also has the barcode that will be needed for on-site registration.

Registration for the PFDE session will close on April 15, 2025, or after the 100 available seats have been sold. Whichever happens first.

PFDE Registration FAQ’s

What do I need to register?

The registration system will collect all the necessary information. Simply fill in all the required fields before proceeding to the registration selection page.

For current CFD® members please enter your exact email and last name that is associated with your membership into the search field. If entered correctly your information will automatically generate in the system.

For those who are not members you will need start a new registration and be asked to fill out all the required contact information to create your registration profile.

Why am I not seeing the PFDE registration selections?

You must select the 2025 PFDE Candidate under the required AIFD Affiliation question.

What options do I have for registration?

You will have the option to select the PFDE Only or a PFDE with General Symposium registration type.

With a PFDE Only registration you are registering for the PFDE session only. It does not include access to the Reflection Symposium or any of its activities.

With the PFDE with General Symposium registration you will reserve your seat for the PFDE session and have a General registration for the Reflection Symposium. With a General registration you may purchase tickets to any of the scheduled workshops and meal functions.

NOTE: Registration badges are colored coded to permit access to activities associated to the specific registration purchased and will be checked by security for access.

May I purchase workshops if I have selected a PFDE Only registration?

If you wish to patriciate in any of the amazing educational offerings happening during the Reflection Symposium you will need to select the PFDE with General Registration option.

Because the PFDE with General Symposium registration is already such a great value, Day Pass registrations are NOT available for those selecting the PFDE Only option. Please note that those selecting the PFDE Only will not have access to any of the educational events, Industry Showcase, optional workshops or meal functions and receptions.

Your badge will be color coded allowing you access to either the PFDE Only or to the PFDE with a General Symposium registration.

How do I pay for the registration?

Once you have selected your registration and optional items (if available) you will have the option to pay for your registration in full or select to make convenient monthly payments. You will find more information regarding payment options on the official Symposium registration site.

What happens if I need to cancel my registration?

As you can imagine there is much planning that happens in preparations for a well-run PFDE session. Therefore, the following cancellation fees apply to all cancellations of a PFDE registration.

Cancellation prior to April 15, 2025 – $250.00 cancellation fee applies.
Cancellations between April 16 and May 15, 2025 – $500.00 cancellation fee applies.
No refunds available after May 15, 2025. Candidates will forfeit the full cost of registration.
