This course will challenge students to refine their skills in both design and business. In order to complete this course, each student is required to compete in a design competition. They will be immersed in every aspect of a design competition from the rules to the judging and scoring. Interpretive designs tools will be expanded on allowing each student to create designs that work with their personal style. Students will be able to recognize a distinction in various images knowing if a specific floral image is a classic design, fad, or trend. This allows them to cater to their clients’ requests and pictures. They will learn the hands on techniques to photograph their work in order to continue their portfolio and market their future work.

Class begins at 8:00 am and ends at 4:30 pm.
