FLR 344 301 Introduction to Floral Design.
Examine proper conditioning procedures for flowers commonly used in floral design. Determine product freshness, identify common and botanical names of flowers and foliage, and explore the appropriate care for flowers for optimal display. Produce a professional vase arrangement. Attendance in online class sessions Saturday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Tuesday 6 – 9 p.m. is mandatory for section 301.
