AIFD Announces 2019 PFDE Results

Of the 146 professionals that were evaluated as part of AIFD’s Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) program, 84 designers earned their CFD credentials in Vegas and 29 designers maintained their CFD credentials. 61 professionals created artistic designs that were so excellent in presentation that they have been invited to become a member of AIFD and they will be inducted during ceremonies at the 2020 AIFD® National Symposium “Vision” taking place in Chicago, IL, July 2 – 7.

Jackie Lacey AIFD, CFD Named President of AIFD

Jackie Lacey AIFD, CFD of the Floriology Institute in Jacksonville, FL was installed as President of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD^®) during the organization’s 2019 National Symposium held in Las Vegas, NV, July 6 – 11. He succeeds Frank Feysa AIFD, CFD of Garden Gate in Aurora, Ohio as the volunteer leader of the floral industry’s leading organization in design education.
