Call for 2016 Symposium Programs

AIFD Wants YOU to Present a Main Stage Program at the 2016 Symposium “Inspiration”

We are very excited to share with you the logo and title for the 2016 AIFD National Symposium “Inspiration!” Our Symposium will be held in the beautiful Southern California area known as the OC (Orange County) in the fantastic city of Anaheim. Tom and I are thrilled to have been asked to be part of another Symposium, even though the commitment of chairing a Symposium is a daunting task. We both realize the challenges and time it takes to produce an event of this magnitude, but we both work well together under pressure. And believe it or not, the passion for flowers and great design INSPIRES us to create a platform for the many visionaries in our industry to share their talents with others.

We are in the process of putting together our team for 2016. So if you are interested in presenting a Main Stage program, becoming part of a Symposium committee appointment or volunteering in any form, please contact either one of us using the e-mail addresses listed below. We have a “Request for Program” guideline and application that needs to be completed prior to submitting your program proposal.

The topics for programs we are looking for are:
•    Weddings
•    Trends
•    Events & Parties
•    Holidays (not just Christmas)
•    Permanent Botanicals
•     Plants / Gardens
•    Merchandising & Visual Display
