The AIFD Inspire Awards celebrate professionals whose passion and contributions are shaping the future of floral design today. These honors complement the long-standing AIFD Legacy Awards. While Legacy Awards recognize a lifetime of achievement, the Inspire Awards focus on those who are actively growing, leading, and lifting the profession right now. Inspire honorees bring fresh ideas, commitment, and heart to their work. They represent the next generation of leaders and innovators in floral design.

About the Inspire Awards

The AIFD Inspire Awards were created to:

• Recognize individuals who drive progress and positive change in the floral community
• Highlight emerging and established professionals whose work advances floral artistry
• Encourage leadership, collaboration, and excellence across the AIFD family and the wider industry

Honorees reflect the values of AIFD through professionalism, integrity, creativity, and service.

Inspire Awards Categories

Inspire Leadership

Honors an individual who exemplifies strong and visionary leadership within the floral industry.

This recipient:

• Demonstrates integrity and professionalism in all areas of their work
• Inspires and motivates others to grow, lead, and contribute
• Fosters innovation, collaboration, and progress within the floral community
• Models thoughtful and effective decision making that moves the profession forward

The nominations for the Leadership Award are submitted by AIFD Regional Chapters

Inspire Blossoming Designer

Celebrates a Certified Floral Designer (CFD) who shows clear growth, creativity, and promise early in their accreditation journey.

This award recognizes:

• Strong artistic development and originality in floral design
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth
• Dedication to the standards and values of AIFD
• Active engagement in opportunities that refine skills and expand experience

Eligibility note: AIFD Accredited Members are not eligible for this award.

Inspire International

Presented to a member residing outside of the United States who demonstrates outstanding engagement, creativity, and leadership in the global floral community.

This award honors:

• Meaningful contributions to floral artistry within their region and beyond
• Leadership that strengthens international collaboration and understanding
• Promotion of AIFD values on a global scale
• Efforts that connect designers, educators, and industry partners across borders

Nomination Overview

• Nominations are open to members of the AIFD community who wish to recognize peers and colleagues
• Each nomination should include brief statement(s) of support and examples of the nominee’s contributions
• All nominations must be submitted through the online applications listed on this page.
• Nomination Deadline: January 31, 2026
• Awards will be announced in the late Spring of 2026
