AIFD Announces 2017 PFDE Results
Of the 112 professionals that were evaluated as part of AIFD’s Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) program, thirteen (13) designers earned their CFD credentials in Seattle and six designers maintained their CFD credentials. Ninety-three professionals created artistic designs that were so excellent in presentation that they have been invited to become a member of AIFD and they will be inducted during ceremonies at the 2018 AIFD® National Symposium “Discover” taking place in Washington, D.C., June 30 – July 4.

Kim Oldis AIFD, CFD Named President of AIFD
Kim Oldis AIFD, CFD of Details…it’s all about the flowers in LaConnor, Wash. was installed as President of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD®) during the organization’s 2017 National Symposium held in Seattle, Wash., July 1-5. She succeeds Anthony J. Vigliotta AIFD, CFD of Anthos Design in Los Angeles, Calif. as the volunteer leader of the floral industry’s leading organization in design education.
